Hello ToddJK, you are reminding me of something I used to beware of when I burned different mixtures, namely: EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE. Im not remembering now but, there is a limit not to exceed or something bad happens. Do you know what happens with high exhaust gas temperatures?
I knew a Deuce owner-Police- friend who got permission from the airport to use thier otherwise disposed of "test" jet fuel. He burned it straight! I remember him showing it to me in the can...frightening stuff...
Hello ToddJK, If you REALLY want one, like I did, consult the classifieds, and also post that item in the classifieds too. Remember, if you cant get an original, you can build one of your own. Anyone who owns a Deuce, like you and me, dont take no for an answer!
When I think of the Deuce, I dont think speed and modern comfort, I do think power, and mechanical performances peculiar to a truck of that size with all whell drive. In my case, my truck also had a winch and crane!
Troopers, I have the tool that enables me to test the M35 injector for opening pressure, and spray pattern. I would like to share that I found a source for new injector nozzles. I shall be listing this toll and the new nozzles in the classified section shortly.
I shall make the excuse for overheating the area around the battery terminal because I could not find my AIR-ACETAYNE tips. I there for had to use a TURBO tip, and I had no control. Had I used a low capacity torch tip, I would have succeded.
WEll troopers, I had to use my dremel tool to cut out he swuare head botl holding the conductor to the melted post. And here is what im left with. I intend to dril a 3.8 bolt into the post and fasten the battery conductors that way...
Thank you Ajax, Here I am surprised at myself for not using the battery post jell, its just that I didnt realize it was important. Glad I have a spare battery!
WEll I went to start truck #3, and no battery [power! Thats unusual as I run this machine frequently. Went to connect the 24 volt chrger and this is what I see...How did this battery terminal shrink like this?
