When we were switching doors on the M998 for the department we could not find any anywhere. We ended up fabricating our own. Good luck with your search. I don't have the plans anymore but can send pics if you want to go that route.

I have a Craftsman 20v impact that hasn't removed anything I've put it on. The castle nut in the pintle isn't torqued so the pintle can move, it's a 1 7/8" nut. The last one I removed with a pipe wrench, carefully and without a problem.

So, If I'm looking at the TM correctly, -24P, the 60A, 100A and Prestolite 200A are all drop in for the Basic and A1 models, while the Niehoff 200A is designed for the A2 trucks. Go figure I would find two for the wrong truck.
Bumping this old thread to ask a question. We have managed to get a pair of 200A alternators for the HMMWV. These are the dual voltage models. What modifications are needed to go from the stock 60A to a 200A dual voltage? I know the pulley is different, can I just swap it?

That poses an interesting issue. The panels are just the seat backs for the rear seats. The rear seat bottoms should still be there and are removable. There are storage areas under both seats that should still be reasonably accessable. Thats the only really good place I can think of to mount...
Under one of the back seats? There is plenty of room, adding a bracket to secure it would not be difficult.
We are also looking into the possibility of solar to provide 12V for some equipment and thats where we would put the batteries.
