Building a custom cab ? The mHET

Have you thought about taking up golf? After reading through your plan, I have a few comments you can do with what you will, first instead of welding all the panels, have a think about rivets, think aeroplane body, flat head or countersunk rivets, and seeing as you are a tight arse :p...

    Overkill Customs 5 ton Bobber

Hey, I must have missed this, great work on the shed, I have been lining mine for the last few days, both thermally and acoustically (the former to keep me happy and the latter to keep the neighbours happy) I sometimes think I will never get all the jobs done that I have to do in the one...

    Overkill Customs Bobbed Deuce

It is looking great Eldgen, the balance is just spot on! Is that your entire work force of minions or do you have some more in reserve? I counted 4, 2 with brown hair and 2 with blonde hair, but there may have been a few more taping up in the cab:grin: Also good to see some progress on the shed...

G'day From Chris - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA

Mad Max is on hold, as broken hill is ablaze with color from the floods, not desert like they need and the Aussie dollar has made it not financial viable to continue filming, they are storing everything for at least 12 months to let the dollar and the landscape settle down before they start up...

    transfercase reversal/ 5 and 5 deuce tranny

Surely a comer should have followed "thats is not a word" not a full stop (period), as your justification of the criticism is merely a continuation of the original sentience not a new subject requiring a separate sentence. Peter. ps. in your sig, you need to put a space between "(with lockers)"...

The truck looks great, I hope those wheels work out for you. Peter. PS, I see those roof trusses are still sitting on the ground, put them on some scraps of timber or they will rot:-D

    Overkill Customs M920 Build

It could be an opportunity to fabricate one, my original fear was that it would look a bit too "civilian" for your application, most sleepers I have seen look obviously fibreglass and the radius on the corners is too large, you can now fab one out of steel/aluminium, break out the dimple dies...

    Overkill Customs M920 Build

When you first posted the idea I was quite hesitant about how it would look, but the pic looks great, get the color sorted and it will be fine. Peter.

    Overkill Customs M920 Build

I love the pic of you sitting on the front guard (fender) I will ad it to my favourites and yes it does do justice to the size of that beast (assuming you are taller than 3'6" :-)) great job, especially seeing as you do all your fine work in a dirt driveway. but you have broken the first rule...

    A3 parentage

This may sound like a dumb question but I have searched and can't find an answer, are all A3's branded AM Generals? What I mean is the 3 base vehicles that are used to make the 2 A3's could have been made by any manufacturer are the end products all branded AM General? Peter.

A tricky question for the SS oracles

I am constantly blown away by you guys!!, I have only been here a short while, yet the transfer of knowlage and frendship is overwhelming, you guys rock. My preferance would be a shipping container, as I will buy other items like tyres and the like and the security will be better in a locked up...
