Going to watch this thread as kind of like to do it to my tractor.
91w350 might have to talk to you about road trip in couple weeks if price ain't bad on something like that after taxes come home.
One that came with my truck had 2 terminals with just hot wire, other left alone. swapped out the switched and we cranked forever never would fire, turned in screw it fired right up. Got idea to check and try ground wire, put it on, cranked engine, and fired right up.
I thought about doing that on our truck but keeping muffler and routing between battery cover and frame under cab, but didn't know how the bends would be with keeping the muffler stock.
Depending on what I can work out with another member on buying his 939 series. I maybe selling my 818, and listing in classifieds soon. As far as which its probably more of a preference. I just starting to like the 916's over the 818's
bighurt, I see the same thing everyday, and people don't think about proper chains and procedures. There is actually a certain way you chain a machine. Excavators need a ATLEAST 5 chains and binders to atleast meet DOT, but yet that even changes depending on your machine weights and chain/binder...
No offense to anyone. But if you can spend $4000 on a truck, what's wrong with another $200 for a tow? I mean we spend more money on our trucks with up keep and what not. We don't pay $4000 and that's it. I know its a burden but these trucks are a pay to play type of vehicle.
Yes before I...
