PBS had a documentary about the Blackwater guys a couple of years back. Very interesting. They operate pretty much with no civilian or military oversight (or at least they did at the time) so while they are driving down the Iraqi highways they have tail gunners shooting at any driver they feel...

RE: Can someone give me more info on what these are like to I have never owned them but I have seen many of them stuck or dead on the trails. I don't know whether it is the fault of the vehicle or the overconfident driver who thinks he just bought the best 4x4 around due to how much he paid...
