I have looked at a few sites for the answer, and I finally came to the answer people(I hope). Does anyone know the Dorman part numbers for lug nuts on a M101A3 trailer 12 bolt 8 lug 37x12.50x16.5 rims. The lug nuts are 6 sided and the 12 bolt has a flange on it. Thank you for any help8-)
I just painted my M101A3 with Rustoleum spray cans. Just scuffed up the CARC with a fiber pad and painted it. No issues, holds up real good. If it scratches, just hit it again with the rattle can. It's a trailer not a show car so I'm not too concered. Good luck.
OK guys, thanks for the response. The trees were loaded towards the front, with hardly nothing behind the axle. I will look at putting a slight downward slope on the tongue, but what about tire pressure, do I fill it at the tire recommendations or just trial and error?
Here is my story.... I own a M101A3 in excellent condition, it is pulled by a Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep and the trailer line up perfectly with each other. The other day I went to get some trees weighing in at about 250 to 300 lbs each, bought 5 of them. On the way there at speeds up to 75mph...
I made up somw extra chains, that hold the tailgate at the same level as the bed this way I can haul 10 or 12 footers very easy and have hauled 16 footers this way.[thumbzup]
Welcome from Michigan. Keep reading to educate yourself, theres a ton of good information here. You can also use up alot of time on this site. All to the good.
I just bought a VSE rebuilt trailer and am waiting on my paperwork from Battle Creek. I have the same concerns as you, hope someone shimes in with an answer.
Never heard of it, went to three trailer places in Detroit area, and no one knows what I'm talking about. I will google trailer lock pins and see what appears.
:?:My question is about trailer theft and maybe you help. I know you can lock the receiver to the hitch. I know you can lock a pintle hitch when it is off the hitch. How do you prevent theft of your trailer when it is all hooked up? What's to deter someone from just uncoupling your trailer...
