didnt notice till snow got deeper that my front axle is only getting power going foward and nothing from my middle axle drive shaft spinning but, no power ..
so i pulled axle shafts ,seeing its easiest to do first both were in good shape ..So only thing i can think of is broken ring gear or...
nope just running the inside tires with the outters in the bed for some weight and traction plowing ..roads here are raised ice roads and duals float and fight for traction .. so its running stock wheels singles right now .. works well .
yeah its a Letourneau machine electric /desiel hybrid hauled haul rd its just 20 minutes from me ..big foot used its wheels ..
im a letourneau so i alawys loved the stories .

I am a old 88mike thats been around the world married to another army transporter stationed in Afganistan...
My old slap stick m915 would do 60 mph no problem in germany .. But my tach card told on me !! when we got the a1 they were slower on the hills and tops speed was **** near 60 mph on flat ground .. we were restricted to 50 mph anyway so most never knew the potential .. i miss the slap stick on...
The problem i have is private property means nothing anymore . It can be taken from you just because the town or city thinks they can do better with it than you can ... Or some endangered white hooded mouse never seen before was found on your 100 year old farm ..

i SAW THOSE TOO LAST TIME DRIVING TO THE AIRPORT . THEY LOOKED TO BE IN GREAT SHAPE . BUT NOTHING HAD MOVED IN A LONG TIME .. THEY ALSO HAD A 5 TON WRECKER THAT CAUGHT MY EYE .
i have a 51 m211 with a state plow on it its huge and not easy to use on tight alaska back roads ..its was tough on the front suspension and drivers side torque rod is bent pretty good .
mine was on it when i bought it its going to go back stock this truck is too clean to keep as a plow rig...
