    opinions on m105 axle swap

I have heard good things about the toro flex axle but have never used one before. I found one on Ebay that is cheaper then the one with springs. Looks like a 7k it is. I only mentioned the 8k for the strength. I searched and read where one person put a 6k on the m105 and was having...

    opinions on m105 axle swap

I picked up an m105 last week. I am going to swap out the axle to one with electric brakes. I found a 7lk with springs, a 7k with the torflex set up and an 8k with springs. Which one so you think would be the best to put under the trailer? I believe I am going to have the axle shortened to...

    Picked up my m105 yesterday

I pulled it with a 2000 F250. It is just as wide as the truck and my car hauler trailer so no problems there. I am going to look into putting a 7k axle on it to get electric brakes and lower it. I am really excited about working on it.

    Picked up my m105 yesterday

Just wanted to say thanks for the great info on this site. Made up my trailer lights to stick on the trailer the night before. Had the proper necessary tools to deal with any problems but had none. Trailer pulled good even at 70 down the interstate. :D

    M105 in Nashville, TN

I want to give a big thanks to Barrygar8. Barry was nice enough to let me take a look at his trailers and his gun truck last night. Got to see the 101 and 105 next to each other. For only a few inches wider and a foot of so longer the 105 sure does weigh alot more then the 101.

    M105 in Nashville, TN

I PM'ed one of the closest guys. If I verify the 105 is not too much trailer for me I will give you shout. I will warn you I am looking for a cheap one. The ones out of Hunstville look like they are going for the $150 min bid. But not having to hassle with picking it up at their location...

    M105 in Nashville, TN

I have searched all items for TN and KY and could not find any. I think I will have to get it from Huntsville, AL and thats a little far to drive just to look. They don't keep items that are coming soon in a different search do they? I just do the search by state then click go. That way I...

    M101A bed removal

blybrook, You just brought me back to my structural steel class. Been awhile since I messed with that stuff. Wish I remembered more of it. I still have my steel manual sitting in my bookshelf. I think tubing is the way to go, should be easier to build with as well.

    M101A bed removal

Thanks, That is what I needed. What do you think frame under the bed should be made out of? Square tubing or C channel? The frame looks to be C channel. I will need to price the metal out. Things can add up pretty quick so want to make sure this is the best way to go. The trailers are...

    M101A bed removal

How hard is it to remove the bed of a M101A trailer? I have searched threads with no luck and looked for pictures but can't find a good picture of the underside of the trailer. I am toying with the idea of making a dump trailer out of it. I have read that they are not made to dump as some...
