Just of sure on ground cause the way the previous owner had it rigged. It has an eye at the end of the ground that's on the cage so I figured it's got to go somewhere

Well got my pump in today and goin to install tomorrow after work. Does the ground on the cage bolt to the pumP?

thats actually what im doin right now is trying to find a 24v inline external or a 24 to 12v resister.

The fuse was blown and when i swaped it i hooked the wires back up and when i turned the acc. on they smoked more than an old ford and blew the fuse

is the in-tank pump 12 or 24 volt? and what psi should it be?

i just pulled the pickup and left the wires pluged in and unhooked the fuel lines turned the acc. on and motors did not kick in but it crancked up. i took it all the way out and here is what i found. a what used to be clear in line fuel filter filled with gunk, and the botom of the tank full...

also noticed that the oil had a slight diesel smell to it.

yes air filter was out when i drove it last night, and tank looked clean. but i am going to clean it all the way out tonight and put fresh diesel in it.
