    Thanks Wayne. Will do. How do i check the pump for leaks?? It was my impatience kicking in that allowed me to screw up. I learned a lesson, so that helps I guess.

    I took the chance, undid the tranny, slid it back a bit, and was able to rotate the TC and slide it back, the flex plate was bent a bit, but didn't seem bad, I took the chance and put it back together and didn't have any problems, all gears worked fine, started fine, starter didn't stick or...

    It went in just about all the way by hand, but might have finished it with the bolts.
