Don't try and use the SF97 in Iowa. It won't work and will just confuse them. You can just get a bonded title. There is a form to fill out to get around the fmvss sticker thing.

I copied the mounting brackets posted earlier for the back seats. Still working on the front. They ait up a little high for my taste, but I still have easy storage access.

The arguments against it are that toys and cars are a depreciating asset. If you do it right, a humvee could go up in value and be a smart investment.
