I installed mine behind my passengers seat with the test button on the door side. Ran wiring under cab to the fire wall and out at the hood seam. I used the provided connectors to make the solar panel removable. I just have to remove the panel from the hood and tuck in the wires. Easy = good
I believe this MRAP came from overseas. From Israel I believe the guy told me. He asked about buying some 365/85R20 Michelins on aluminum wheels and told me it was in customs. Then GL was nice enough to list 4 or 5 lots out of Herlong Ca. So I still have the tires and he wouldn't return my...
I believe that A3 has been out there a long time. I haven't been out there sense this last year and that truck was sitting there then. I think its been there for 1 1/2 years. The first thing you need to know, is that if these trucks tire sit flat they are no good any longer. $700 to $1000...
TobyS, if you are looking to go with 11.00r20 dueled in the back an 14.5R20 is the same height mount on a A3 rim and you are good to go. (I happen to have that tire for sale, only 1)
The easy / short answer to the question is YES. The solar charger will work. It is wired straight to the batteries. If you have any questions about how the Pulsetech Kit should be wired feel free the PM me.
Very clean install. I have mine mounted on the hood with magnets. The only problem I have is, I sometimes forget about the "remove before flight" thing. But the panel lets me know by knock on the passengers door at about 40 mph or so. P.S I still have some more kits available. Nice work...
I'm trying to find the material at a reliable price. It may have to be lighter than the OEM covers. New materials equal lighter with the same qualities as old. I will not be towing mine with the cover on. Let me get so input from everyone. As for the larger trailers. Can you make a...
I trying to get a feeling for the amount of M116 trailers owners that would like to get a cover for there trailer / gensets. I have a friend that can make them for us, but I need to know if he is going to make 2 or 20. The cost would be around $250, depending if the covers are made with roll...
Hey Aaron, I don't have any 395's to compare it to, but I'm would like their the same. If both are XZL Michelin's. Asked the guy to send me pictures of the inside/bead of the tires. Still waiting.
I had mine repaired about 4 months ago. Cost $45.00 and took about 15 minutes to pull and the same to re-install, plus a good time to see the condition of the cooling system and replace anything that is in need. Great time to install block heater for you cold weather people. On the lighter...
Hey thanks Jim, Again, you are the man. You could have won some money off me on this one, I swear I did a search for "dzus fasteners". I even went to the Hardware Super Store of McFadden Dale here in Las Vegas and they didn't have these. Should have ask at the off road racing place...
These tires still have the stickers on them. Their were mounted and stored. Tires look brand new on outside. Date codes are from mid 2006 to end of 2008. I'm sure the tires where stacked 4 or 5 high, but don't look like they have been on a truck.
I was told today that a guy disassembled a couple NEW / not on truck purchased mounted Michelin XZL's with internal bead locks. And found that the bead lock have damaged the inside of the tire bead so bad that steel was showing. Now, before everyone starts, it wasn't me that saw it, but I do...
