I will give them a call tomorrow I sure would like to tackle this thing on my own but Im not a huge radio guy I can decipher a wiring diagram and read a tm but I will be darn if anything more then that makes sense I had a fellow at the place I work take a look at it he was a guard radio operator...
Hello I've been working on a RT-68 radio for awhile when I first got the radio it was inop and would not turn on at transmit there was a small circuit board attached to one of the coaxial cables that I believe to be an amplifier of some sort that whoever had the radio last put in for some reason...
why should I not be close when transmitting on a side note my rt-68 doesn't receive or xmit someone dickered with it at some point in time and put a small circuit board in the thing I removed it and the darn thing dosnt work but everything else on the ting does I have good side tone and whatnot
You really have to keep up on your brakes it seems to me at least the hardest thing to keep up on I keep a spare set of wheel cylinders and I have a spare airpack when in doubt do your wheel cylinders and check your shoes for proper adjustment
I did the rebuild on mine and still the brakes still hang up and I think the relay valve is to blame I bought the old style air pack but I still want to get my shorty working did you ever do the write up on this ??
well forgot to take one bolt out of the oil cooler housing tried to pry it off cracked it and had to order another on. 170 dollars down the drain.
