shaft wasnt bent, door dent was a previous owner addition. would love to have more infor ation about where it served. not sure if theres anyway to find that out.
i took another look and ive only got 16 in my vin, dash matches and so does glovebox.

this thread was helpful... its definetly military and not an M1028 so, 1987 M1008 it is.
1GCGD34J9HF39992 OWNERSHIP SAYS ITS a 1987 CHEV D30 it does not have its data plates nor do i have any history. truck had flat brackets in the cab on the pass floor and tunnel, as well as a tube the went through the floor for wiring i assume. any further info greatly apprecited Lee
