Want to dolly my Mutts
I would not suggest using a tow dolly. I towed my Mutt from NH to florida last year a distance of 1700 miles. I disconnected both axle shafts. I wore out the rear tires right down to the core. Mutt fishtailed a lot couldnt go over 50mph. fishtailed even worse if the road...
Not mine but I now the one your talking about I have seen other MV,s there over the past several winters. I keep meaning stop but havnt yet Im off Tropicana near Chiquita
This might be a dumb question It sounds like it might be a polarity problem. Do you have the correct wires to pos and neg Also you said that you hooked a AM2060 in the mount and it worked Was the PRC25/77 mounted in it and did the radio function properly If it did I would pull off the covers of...
Yes the PRC-77 is a updated version of the PRC-25 but they are plentiful here in the good old USA No need to buy from a foriegn country not to mention the high shipping costs The main diff between the PRC-25 and the PRC-77 the PRC-25 has a tube in it the PRC-77 is all transistorized and is also...
You are going to need one of the following items as a minimum for your installation Mount 1029/VRC, Antenna Matching Unit MX6707, Antenna AT-1095/VRC(two pieces), Cable Power CX-4720/VRC, Control Cable CX-4722/VRC, Cable Radio Frequency CG-1773B/U and a M80 microphone
You also mentioned not...
Your looking at $500 + or - for everything depending if you want a working radio or just a display In addition you will need the mount, cables , antenna matching unit and antenna rods This stuff is very heavy and expensive to ship. this stuff is usually available at most military flea markets
They made both a electric and a gas model depending on the configuration . such as ANGRC/142 and the older ANGRC/46 ratt rigs What type are you looking for

Had the same problem. I replaced the fuel filter. It was running prior to changing the filter when I tried to purge the new filter no fuel comming out of the filter. It was the lift pump must have been dying all along and the filter change did it in. Anyway I drove the truck from New Hampshire...
Best place is to get a copy of the parts manual. bolt sizes and thread size is listed in most cases. 95% of hardware can be purchased at your local hardware store. I had a M38 and thats where I got the nuts and bolts

Had the same problem. Replaced the fuel filter.then the fuel pump died maybe a coincidence but I just drove the !008 from New Hampshire to Florida a distance of 1700 miles problem gone If your fuel pump is the original you might want to replace it before you get stuck on the road
First you get hooked on green MV's Then you get hooked on green radios to go with them You then talk locally with PRC-77 and RT524 then you graduate to the big league with a GRC-106 and talk to the world with a ham licence all done with military radios. Its a sickness with no known cure
