yep he is leaning toward the m1008 and just not driving on the highway. he wants a big diesel rugged truck. he is still gonna drive a m1009, m1008, and that GMC truck and decide.
any link to that writeup on the dealer?
thanks! we are going to look at em tomorrow. theres also a civilian 95 GMC sierra he is interested in aswell with a diesel. but it costs a lot more :(

hmm okay. what about the newer body style CUCV or Sierras? theres a diesel one for sale at the same place he is looking into also. or if he can find one a newer one.
once maybe twice a week. we found a good "dealer" of M1009/8's very close that does work on them etc. so if for some reason a problem that stumped me or him. they would take a looksey etc for him if he buys from them, kinda a warranty i guess.

so my friend asked me to help find him a truck/SUV that was cheap he can DD and not have to "worry" about. no more than 5 grand, Diesel, 4wd, and a good towing capacity. so i go hey why not a CUCV. i found a few for him to go look at but i was thinking. is either a good daily driver? he isn't...
so i did a bit of reading but nothing was clear. my buddy hates the look of his M35A3 headlights/grill. is it possible to swap the M35A2 front fenders, and headlights/grill on?
thanks.
