Guys, This is my battery box (M-915-A1). I hit a bad bump and it has put me up a creek. The mechanic I called thought we found the problem with a shorted out front turn signal. That fixed now the truck won't turn over. Pushing the start button just buries the needle to the left of the volt...
M915A-1 questions,
1. Manufacturer of the 5th wheel?
2. Is the adjustment procedure - close jaws on 2" pipe and tighten adjustment nut till jaws are snug on said pipe, then back off a turn or so (what I've been told)?
3. Are the adjustment nuts still available?
4. If the adjustment nuts are not...
I hope this funnier than my post.
A guy takes his dog to the Vet., and tells him to cut Fido's tail off. The Vet asks why. The guy answers: "My mother-in-law is coming for a visit next week, and I want all chances that she might think we are happy to see her here eliminated.".
1. Do they have a title in hand?
2. Will they give me a paper plate to get home?
3. Will they let me move the truck and check it over good when I go for the inspection?
4. Am I nuts to plan on driving a truck home 400 miles?
If there is a better topic to put this in please tell me.
Thanks
I wondered if my fan clutch worked until today. The fan on my 915a1 had never engaged as far as I knew. I assumed the worst until today when I left the hood opened while I started the truck. The service air pressure was low and the fan spun to beat the band until operating pressure built up. At...
I have lights! I took a jumper and went to one headlight with 12 volts. They both lit up. So I decided they weren't getting energy from the cab for some reason. I decided the wiring on the old switch was wrong and I transferred the mess to the new switch. The reason I bought a new switch is...
Well,I put in a new switch. No change. What puzzles me is what would seem to be the most delicate of the systems on the truck (clearance lights) is working flawlessly. All that doesn't work are the headlights and marker lights on top of the fenders. The clearance part of the marker lights work...

That sounds like you have to be fairly handy with fabrication to go your route. Was it a huge undertaking? Or is it something a person who can solder pretty well put together?
I pulled the light switch yesterday and it is crumbling apart. Ordered a replacement. Is the system you have of your design or is it a kit available somewhere? Thanks for the help. Oh BTW, my 1984 has been configured for GPS. There is a magnetic antenna mount on the back of the cab that rises to...
