Does it matter if the hummer pump is 6.2 or 6.5 ? Will a stock hummer pump already give more fuel anyway? I do want to get some more power if possible, but a turbo would be something for next year -

My recently bought ex army k5 6.2 (1985) seem to have a lack of power. Currently it fits a 2829-4544 hd injection pump which i could only turn up 1/4 till it stopped. I suspect it was already turned up in the past without much result. It currently runs without any smoke. Shops advice me to...
