I have a M817 5 Ton that has an unacceptable amount of slack in the steering. I was wondering who could tell me what all steering boxes that may interchange with it. I was hoping maybe some of the M939 Series stuff may work. Or maybe I can find some nice NOS steering boxes somewhere.
Where is the vent? My M936 pumped about a gallon or more on the ground the other day! It came up through the dipstick tube. The truck never moved just lost fluid!

It is leaking from the throttle shaft area! It is leaking from behind the sheetmetal plate. I can buy a PT pump that is new old stock for $375. What should a pump rebuild cost?

I have a 1983 AM General M931 with a Cummins NHC250. I am trying to determine which PT pump I need? The truck must be primed with the hand pump primer each time the truck is cranked! Plus the truck seems down on power so I figure I will just swap it out!
