Anybody out there have a sugestion on what type of primer is best for troop seat wood? I plan to use the same enamel I used on the truck. Can I use the same primer? The primer I'm using is a red oxide primer (napa brand) and the enamel OD is Gillespie from Rapco. Thanks in advance, Joe

I have been told that only the early m37's (0nly those made in 1951) had the slots for a strap. Anyone with slots on a later truck? Mine was made Dec 1951 and has slots. I found bumpers that were close to originals in McMaster Carr, but you have to buy large quantities. Joe

Only my opinion, but there are still trucks out there that need a lot less work for a little more money. I would shop a little more. This truck is probably a better parts truck. Joe

I purchased a new "U.S. Property" data plate for my 1952 M37. It is slightly different than other plates I have seen. The new plate has a place to stamp the manufacturer part number. What is this number???? Also I don't know what to stamp in the six fields on a new "Responsible Agency" plate...
