well in the end about a year ago I sold that bobbed deuce and went to bicycle central America...But then I ended up buying a 1982 Bedford TM and maybe some day I'll throw a reefer unit on it and build another Camper...Cheers
thx for pointing this thread to me.The one in great shape not far from your place just might be the one I'm trying to go see this coming weekend actually...cheers
So I'm thinking about starting a new expedition truck project with a 1987 Bedford...Anyone knows anything about them? I obviously still love my Bobbed Deuce. ..It's been my daily for awhile and I've been living in the camper on it for quite awhile now.I'm debating selling it to throw money in...
check mine out
Have you gone to my profile and seen mine? At first I did have an 11.5 ft truck camper but did not like that. Now on page 4 of just a Newby saying hello thread you'l'll see what set up I've come up with...I'm pretty much finished now after redoing all the inside of the camper...
I've gone and broke my oil canister bolt in my engine...I got the pcs out of engine with no issues, but I am also now looking for replacement bolts if I could get pointed in the right direction please and thanx
.
Good luck and enjoy your toy. Eddy
You know I was looking on here for the right filters at Napa and I got the 1133 but the gaskets were leaking...Some on here say its not the right gaskets and some say it is...hence me snapping my bolt acting stupid over tightening...hopefully won't be too...
On a different note tho I went mudding the other day and ran out of brake fluids...See I thought my rear wheel was leaking so I thought I needed to put a key hole gasket(Doesn't look like there was one in there either), but when I dove in I realized that the piston that pushes the drum brakes...
yup those windows do lined up.Right now I have the camper sitting on a 3 inch frame We made for it.But if I did lower it the three inches it would be flushed with the tail gate...Eventually I wanna make some tools boxes to put under the side of the camper...
Ok so this ended up being a lil sketchy because the bed is wider than the jacks...so we raised it, blocked it,raised it more then had wood across those pallets on other jacks which I don't have a picture. So We ended up being 8 of us to pushed it under the camper because for some reason my oil...
so I just bought myself an 8ft Alaskan camper for the back of the bobbed after all...The other camper was just too top heavy has I had feared.I haven't gotten to try the camper on the truck quite yet tho...For those who don't know Alaskan camper, they're pretty cool, they raise up and down a few...
Been eyeballing those same stairs. Other than coming up short:
- you like them (good product)?
- they steady and solid?
Actually yes I do like them...I had found an extension for them at the metal recycle place in my area but he wanted 25$ for them and I wasn`t sure...I went back the next...
got an 11.5 camper on the deuce...gonna have solar panel and a **** loads more later.
the picture from the front was before we had shifted the camper forward another foot and it looks crooked but the frame is also flexing...there`s gonna be tool boxes under the side of the camper later for...
yeah thanx for this thread and the pictures...I am wondering if you have ever figured out you gauge?I have also just looked behind the dash and realized that I do not have a ground behind the gauge and that aslo might be why its jumping all over the place...thx
so what I think I'm getting out of this tread is that on a bobbed deuce without a lift it would be fine to run 14R20 without issues?Or should one stick to 15.5R20?Because by the sound of it the 16 would be too big and could rub right? Is the 15.5 going to performed better for speed vs the...
Yep from Kelowna to Courtenay, and yep on the ferry from Horseshoe bay to Nanaimo...The guy who worked for me on my truck is one of the heavy duty mechanic teacher in Kelowna. He tried explaining to me that he wasn't impressed with the axle seals designed and that it would fail.I just read a few...
