I use Black Diamond Super Fine coal slag for steel parts and after 3 uses it's soft enough for aluminum. I keep a separate bucket of used coal slag just for aluminum parts. I do 120psi for steel & 90psi for alum. This is for small parts (up to 16"wheels) in my blast cabinet.
