I had a sticky fuel shutoff control. I sprayed some starter fluid into the air intake to see if it would fire, and it did. then I asked these guys for help, and they told me to take off the side cover & free it up. Be careful, but it did work! Good luck.
The funny thing is last night I started it again, and the only light in the whole truck was the red light to let me know it was locked into 4x4 - and when I shut it off and restarted it again, the red light was gone! And now it is snowing again, so who knows when I will get to it - hope this...
HELP! I hadn't run by Deuce for months, then when I started it, no lights anywhere - no blinkers, no dash lights. Truck runs fine! Where do I look? Thanks!
I know this thread is a way old, but I just ran into almost the same issue on an M35A2. It sits a lot, the fuel shut off stuck in the off position, and I read up on it here, cleaned it up and runs great again! But now the lights won't come on#@! They were working, even installed a new turn...
Thats my luck! I will keep an eye on it, already bought the o-ring for that piece and will replace it asap. Thanks again. Wish I lived close to you guys!

My door doesn't open from outside, just from the inside (passenger side). But I have opened it from the outside with a flat head screw driver, carefully. I wedged it down from the top, pushing the plunger latch open.
