i figured i would resurrect this thread instead of starting a new one seeing as it is along the same lines. I've got some questions regarding the S-10 tank swap.
my first one is regarding the S-10 sending unit.
i've included a picture and am curious about the multiple tubes and what they are...
ok ive got a little bit to report here. from my research (which could have been more extensive ill admit), it appears that the most cost effective and readily available replacement tank is a 20 gallon tank out of a 85-94 s-10 blazer/jimmy, $99.95 part # 29-3008 from LMC Truck. and i had to call...

im sorry i dont have the information your lookig for. but if/when you find one please post up the information you get from completing the swap. i would also like to put a hard top on mine some day.
good luck!

Thank you for the inspiration and information. it does appear that i've opened a can of worms regarding the brakes. everything on the brakes side of things either needs a rebuild or replaced (i havent even gotten into the front axle yet) not to metion all of the axle seals to keep the gear oil...
Hello friends,
I just acquired a 1954 dodge M37 somewhat accidentally (the deal was too good to ignore). Anyway i just wanted to share my new rig and get a feel for the forum. I was also hoping to get a little insight on good (and the bad) places to get parts and information regarding these...
