Hey.
Thanks for the invite.
I'm scheduled to work days that weekend, but may make a pass to check out the vehicles when I get off.
I see you're road is located right past Lake Julu.
I almost bought that log cabin across hwy 22 from Julu a long time ago before setteling for a house behind the...
At one point a couple weeks ago, I was thinking of stopping the payments to my Tahoe so it could be repossesed. That would give me an excuse to get a MV for cash. But don't think fiancee would like going without the AC or power windows.
Most of the generators are 3 phase. If running appliances on these generators, you have to get, or make distribution boxes and try to use the same amount of electricity from each phase.

Anyone inspected any of the M818s located in Texarkana ending tomorrow?
Info for any of them will do.
I'm several hundred miles away, and want to bid on a runner if there is one.
Thanks
Re: RE: Redstone Listing Descriptions
On that note, is there a list of the GL sites where the "better" MVs have been picked up?
I hear Oklahoma is one.
I read many stories here where the recoveries were "drive homes". If it's just luck, or what.
Thanks
How good and accurate are the GL descriptions of some of the MVs listed at Redstone Arsenal?
Other words, if it says "starts and runs" or "driven in", is it in good enough condition to where it can be picked up and driven home 300+ miles with minor maintenance?
thanks
It should be a "must have" for South Louisiana.
I saw 3 of the Oshkosh trucks with boat type trailers behind them in Grand Isle, La. after Gustav. On my return trip over the bridge I saw 3 military boats cruising in the water. I don't know what they were up to. Patrolling, clearing debris in...
Thanks for the info.
Guess I'll raise my hitch.
Mainly going to use it to haul furniture, lumber, etc. to what's left of the fishing camp in Grand Isle. Not going to have anything too heavy to haul, just more room to haul.
Maybe later on I'll get a duce or a dump to pull the trailer.
Noob question here.
I searched through all the posts here for any info on lowering a M105A, and don't see any.
So I'll ask...
Can a M105A be lowered to run level with a civi 1/2 ton truck?
I see plenty of post where the hitch is raised or the tounge lowered.
I want to get the bed lowered to a...
