I dont`t know for sure but I was told by a guy at the local tire store which sells Eldorado brand tires that you can go from the 31x10.5 to 33`s and not have any clearance issues.
Very cool pictures and all Chevy`s. That`s what I`m talkin about. You guys looked like you were having a great time. Please keep us updated on anymore excursions and thanks for the excellent shots,
When I first got my M1009 I filled the tank and the gauge would not go past 3/4. I took a chance and installed a regular gas gauge from a civilian pickup at the junk yard. The gauge was the problem and It`s been working fine ever since. The only draw back is that the gauge backing does not...
I bought my 86 M1009 through the same auction by sight only on the web site. I don`t know how many times I looked at the pictures. I live in Michigan and drove to Ft. Hood Tx. to get it. My winning bid was $2575.00 plus a 10% fee through the auction house. From the pictures the truck looked...

I remember seeing a Banks kit for a 6.2 on e-bay back before Christmas. It was bought new and never installed according to the seller. I beleve the final sale price was about $1100.00. Try an e-bay search for either cucv`s, 6.2 diesel or Banks turbo.
The last time that I talked to them was in the summer and I showed them the truck and vin #. I guess that they type the number into a national database and for some reason could not get a response to the number. I sure hope I did`nt buy a stolen vehicle from the U.S army or could it have been a...
I purchased a M1009 through Government Liquidation aprox 1yr. ago and have been driving it since March. On three seperate occasions since then I have received a notifacation from my insurance company reguarding a supposed discrepancy with the vin#. I showed them all the paperwork I received...
