water pump there is a weep hole on the bottom seal is going out. WITHOUT ENGINE RUNNING!grag fan and see if you can move it front to back of the truck it might not move but i say water pump
you cable wasnt making a good connection.make sure your ends and terminals are clean and tight!24 volt systems tend to burn the post off a battery pretty quick if they are loose or dirty!

too muck vacuum pull the hose off the modulater valve the should be a little flat head screw turn it in and drive should fix it.i would only turn it a turn or two clockwise then drive again till you like it
get a new thermostat.stay away from the ones that lock open when you take it out you will find it is locked open therefor not allowing the engine to heat up also i would use a 190
