I installed the 3.5" Vortex in the bobber tonight. Pulled the stack and clamp off, dropped in the cone, reinstalled the clamp, five minutes tops.
You can have a conversation outside the truck at idle without yelling.
The whistler is still obnoxiously loud but all the BLAAAAAH is toned down...
When hanging a front suspension out back on a bobber, what angle is the shackle supposed to be at ? Straight with a naked spring?
If I center the axle under the 105 wheel well and bolt the springs up with the shackle straight, will the position of the axle in the wheel well change when weight...

I have one of Leo's trucks. What a great guy. I also bought a trailer from him made from the back half of a 715. His son is running a business on the old site now. I dont think there is anything military left. His health is not good but he keeps going.

I used Western Heavy Haul Prineville OR for a trip to Stockton and back. I went along for the ride, lots of fun. It was a last minute thing and they were great. The driver loaded my dead duce and French Camp forked my trailer on.
