Like the use of chevy HEI. THere are mag rebuild guys out there but thats clever. Tracks of these are some of the easyest out there to replace. Go to WWW.EXTREAMEHAGGLUNDS.COM and watch the video "track building". This type of track works on snowcats and other vehicles too. Its the...
I think I still have the TM - Ill check tonight. I also just found an Otter in California that has the rear cab cut off(Pickup style). Guy that owns it does not do email, text or computers. You will have to be able to go there in person if you want it. PM me if you are serious.
Here is the section that refers to the battery, starter, ect.

All the manuals are posted on here - have you looked through them? THe front of TM9-2320-360-20-3 has a bit of troubleshooting but its a preface to the engine controller.
All the manuals are also at: www.liberatedmanuals.com/
I will try to find the one that contains the schematic.
Wiring tied together somewhere between the 12V and 24V?? Is there a way the 12 v can be disconnected or isolated and then check the 24V on the truck? all my other MVs are 12V or 24 V only.
Also a large load can pull an alternator "down". From your last post(ran it for a while, turned it off...
No one has covered, in this thread - that I have seen, insurance and drivers license requirements for M1070 on public roads. I just bought one and am trying to figure out what kind of trouble I'm into.
We intend to Haul a M18 and/or M60 tanks with this beast(No the tanks aren't mine - Steve...
Pics of the arm installed on my truck. Note that the air assist cylinder now has the proper horizontal position again.
I made a 4" Lift arm for user "TOXIC" waiting for feedback on the install of the arm on a show truck they are doing.
So far there is some possible bump steer issues...
Another Otter home. No problems getting across the Canadian border - Helps to have no engine, transmission, or fluids . Got some great parts for my M116 too. This Otter is in excellent condition inside and out. Once again - No track. I am going to pull out all the otters for a group...
Yeah - Better have a lot of time, face shield, and wheels available if your going to do it with abrasive cutoff. Sawzall gets in a bind too much... SOme the the structure is 1/4" thick in there.
Tip for those who don't know or havent done this yet. If your going to use a flame to cut, for a...
I have never seen picture of how to get into the ring mount once it is installed.
I think you stand on the back of the passenger seat(diamond plate when flipped down - but what about the top? I have the ring mount canvas covers to cover the ring but there woudl be no 'seal' between the roof...
8" lift - bigger is better! Like to see what you come up with too.
Thinking of adding steering stabilizers to help elinate death wobble - Checking all the standard stuff first.
am not running any shocks at this point - suspension seemed so stiff it doesn't matter - any input on this...
I did another bobber - this time I cut the front of the bed off - took out 34" of the bed and welded the front of the bed back on. This was a lot less work on the bed but the bed mount positions had to be adjusted. Fixed with some angle iron. ..
I will add pics later.
Bottom line(my opinion)...
I knew I wanted the biggest - baddest stering arm out there. The high steer arms I found on the market for sale work with the passenger side - wont work with air assist steering and they also dont include the tapered hole for the cone locks which I wanted to ensure elimination of any play in the...
FInally getting back to finish the project - 2 years - really!!!????
Added the air assist steering to improve steering - not really powerful enough to overcome the XZL tires.
The other problem I had to solve was getting the steering ball joint and arm high enough to accomodate the 6" lift I...
