I had the same problem on my P22. Different engine but the fuel lines rot from the inside out and swell on the inside causing flow restriction and eventual blockage. Hope this helps.
Do these dump trucks come with this type of brake? Read about fitting a replacement in one of the TM's but haven't noticed any of the ones for sale have a switch for this????
I would think that a Detroit Diesel shop would be able to work on the engine if needed. Are you going to use this on public roads? Have you tried registering it yet? I think CA has truck emissions regulations that a MK48 won't pass. Where are you going to get spares form? Oshkosh won't sell to...
Has anyone here bought an LVS FPU from Gl that actually works and isn't a large paperweight? I'm interested in the next auction but don't want to do a complete engine rebuild and spend the next 2 years buying new parts at new part prices.
I'm sure there are, only problem is, why would you want one if you don't have the trailer...they're pretty much useless without one. Most of the trailers that were sold in the Socal area ended up as scrap metal.

If you can measure the end plate size, the hole spacing on the end plates (centre to centre) and then the hole spacing between the end plates (centre to centre) I can fabricate some stout A arm towbars in my shop, might even make 2 and only charge you materials cost.........it's a lot cheaper...
probably went cheap because they have no front hitches and are therefore very expensive to move. If they had a front hitch...... anyone selling front hitches???
I might be missing something but there are no dimensions or diagrams on the GL site. Yes I was watching the pallet of 16 tow bars sell for $3777....but no dimensions when I click through. I am a willing buyer at a decent price.
I was thinking of bidding on GL for one of those HEMTT rear ends and noticed that some have the lunette style A frame tow bar but most don't. The NSN number is 240012528530 for the tow bar. I guess the trailer part is useless without this (but the crane is still worthwhile). Does anyone have a...
