Replaced my flywheel the teeth where ground pretty bad I used bolts to slide it back to get some room to work. also took the starter apart and replaced the bendix gear getting that gear out was a B.
Did you ever figure out why the tach works when its unplugged from the transmission? mine does the same it worked for a good while then started dying it works great when disconnected from tranny.
found out why my humvee was getting hard to start while making a mad scrreching/grind sound. it is only in that one spot where teeth are ground down. I wonder if i can get away with just a new bendix gear and maybe a new solenoid
I changed out 2 worn out tires with 2 real decent ones. I yanked the runflat out of the old tire by strapping the tire to a tree that was the easiest part. Putting them in the new tire is something I never wanna do again. next time im gonna get the pvc insert beadlocks. heres a pic right before...
Common sense would also say if someone drives around in a Humvee they also fancy firearms. I think that's why we don't hear much abt people's rigs getting messed with or stolen.
I try not to stray far and I park the best I can to keep a clear line of fire between the truck and where I'm going. I avoid stopping in questionable areas to many a$$ clowns now days
I think that would look really cool. but why not get a vinyl wrap so you dont have to worry about the body corroding. I know not a humvee but yall get the idea
