The M996/997 Ambulance tops use mounting points that already exist in the Humvee body. Depending on the variant, you will likely need to upgrade the springs.
Thanks for the info! I have a few of these and was not thrilled to find out that the refrigerant was removed. Conveniently, GP left that info out of the listings.
Excellent timing! I just drained the tank and installed the correct Odyssey battery. I am about to fire up my M1030 for the first time.
Thanks Torquepen !
Definitely a mess for sure. I received that info from a rep I know well after some fairly stern prodding on my behalf and it jivrs with my personal experience with this round of EUCs. Either way, it is ridiculous.
Nope. The real issue is that GP’s main interface with TSC quit and it took a while for the new clown to her security clearances approved. AFAIK, no EUC’s were even touched in the month of May. I submitted one 5/1 and I did not get the “your EUC has been received” email until 5/28. Still no...

There are specific mounts for the windshield and rear fenders that are crazy expensive from the manufacturer. Make sure you buy a top with mounts or fab your own. There are factory seals, but any standard seal will work. The fit is far from perfect, so a tube or two of silicone will be required.
The red is a protective spray used to ward off corosion during long term storage. Same as the foil on the intakes, exhaust tips, winshield wiper pivots, etc.
Bump. I am having a **** of a time trying to get common carriers to successfully pick up 1 250 lb pallet. Anyone headed to the Yermo lot that can do me a solid?
Cheers.
