Anyone got suggestions or thoughts on aftermarket wheels? I'd like to get away from these military tires and go with a 17"-18" wheel + mudtire combo. It's the next thing I want to do to my hmmwv.
Anyone know if it's possible to install a 12v winch by drawing power off the dual volt alternator? Or if there are other options? 24v winches are crazy expensive.
Anyone got any advice for aftermarket windshield wiper arms and blades for the HMMWV? I want to replace mine. Also...looking for one door strap should anyone have one they aren't using or know of someone selling.
Anyone got any recommendations on installing the high back passenger seat in the hmmwv? Does it mount directly to the battery cover box or is there a seat slider that it gets mounted to first. Can see how it's possible otherwise considering the battery cover gets installed at an angle.

RetiredWarHorse or anyone else...got a similar issue and just wondering if anyone has encountered a similar issue. My EESS sorta started smoking and melted a few weeks back. Had the green label so I ordered another green label (used) and hooked it back up. Wait light doesn't come on but...
Just standard powder coat. As far as the flatness goes...I didn't specify when I dropped it off! I use this place for other work so they did it for free. Once I got it back it was glossy and I couldn't really argue if you know what I mean! I broke down and used flat spray paint! I figure it's...
No sir, no instructions! Good ole eBay purchase! It's going on a hmmwv. I'll pm you my mailing address. Thank you! I'm only using it to power a 12v stereo I built. I picked up a smaller 24v to 12v step down converter to use instead. I had to have a radio in that thing!
