I had the same thing happen when I bought mine, some were bright, and some were dim. The issue was the LED module that developed fatigue cracks inside on the solder joints. I replaced mine and all was back up and bright. Ryder fleet products used to have a 2 LED module that fit the trailer (my...
That whole amber light module will need to be replaced. It removes with a quarter turn counter clockwise and there is a connector on the back. All of the spare parts are found in the link below. You can buy the amber modules by themselves, but I only found the 2 LED versions. The link below has...
Thanks,
Now I am wondering what the tongue weight is without anything on the back, just genset and the AC unit. I will take a guess it will be close to 300lbs or more.
Does anyone have a pic of the shipping plate for this trailer that has the dimensions on it?
Width is standard, but not sure how long these are.
Thanks in advance,
I just replaced all the markers on my M1102 except the three reds in the rear with all new parts because I made a big mistake. Do not use blue thread locker on the light housing screws as it eats the plastic and causes it to crack.
Yellow 12-24V LED assembly.

Sorry to hear about the bear, and good luck with the repair.
Here we have tons of rats, so it is always a battle to keep them from building nests in the engine area of the cars.
Yes, I have the vinyl top.
I used spray paint from the Rapco Parts website using the C.A.R.C. substitute colors. I chose them, because I can order any mix of colors per case. I did test the paint on a test area to see if it will "eat" the vinyl. No issues were seen, and the paint sticks just...
After looking at the price of a new "canvas" top, I decided to refurbish the one I already have. It took about 3 coats of paint on the outside, but care was taken to not make the paint too thick or it would start to look glossy.
I had a few holes along the corner area along the sides that...
I had similar on my M1102 trailer, all of my amber LED marker lights were flickering randomly, or going dim.
It turned out to be a fault internal to the sealed units and nothing to do with the wiring. Replacing the LED modules fixed the issue I had.
I didn’t want to drill any holes to mount the license plate, so I wanted figured out an alternative method. Instead of finding a welder, metal stock to fabricate something, I cut up the top half of a scrapped rear leg support, and mounted an inexpensive license plate holder to it with...
I also tried to search the dimensions of the trailer pintle ring before picking mine up.
Here are a few pics with dimensions of the pintle ring on my M1102 for reference.
Hope the measurements are legible. I used a 10-ton hitch that worked pretty well, even when backing the trailer into the...
I finally decided on a pair of new wheels and tires for camping.
They do stick out a little bit, but no worse than the fronts on my K2500 Suburban.
After a little paint, they look pretty good. Pics attached below.
I also found one issue others might have known or not. Do not use blue...
LEDs are not as rugged as incandescent, and they do not handle transients causing them to fail too early if not protected. I remember when all the traffic lights were changed to LEDs in my area many years ago, I could not find one that did not have burned out sections in them a year later. I am...
After some searching around, it looks like trying to find a matching H1 wheel and tire close by is turning into a bust if I want to go camping in a few months with it. I have decided to buy new tires and wheels for the trailer and use what it came with as spares. This might be a “safer” solution...
Question about the M1101/2 TM. I see the one I can get all over the place is a bit old. Is there any that is newer with current part#s that work with such trailer? I see a website which has bearing kits, and brake assemblies, but not sure if they will fit my 2009 M1102. Ideas?
