Had an issue today with the front passenger caliper binding, Its a duralast reman about a year old .. even with some G clamps on the piston it wont budge.
Anyone else had problem with these?
Looking at a 700R4 advertised locally and think the price is right but the seller says its a 'Narrow' 700r4??
From what I've read there is no such thing but am I wrong?
From the pictures it looks like the same shape but maybe someone here can chime in?
As most of the driving will be road based...
What happened to Matt5's comment? I wanted to add that many of the threads get cross posted all over them and very quickly off topic.. It can take a while to sift through many pages for the final answers
FOLLOW UP to post #45 from SSDVC with the dead picture link .. Mine was exactly as described but its nice to see a picture
It almost looks as though there should have been some kind of rubber boot to make them fit .. there is no way that ever was connected properly, the angle is all wrong ...
Good points Thanks, although the reasoning behind replacing them at the same time is if the bearing fails on the fan clutch the vibration will kill the water pump and vice versa.
I searched after I read this... couldn't find the $8 ones but did find these for $17.50
