Am I dumb for throwing a used 60 amp in my 998 instead of buying a new 60 amp? Assuming the seller of a used 60 amp says it works prior to purchasing. Anybody got one? I would like to stay original.
I paid $6,700 plus fees for a tan troop carrier in June 16'. Was in excellent condition with nothing broken.
Paid $8,700 plus fees for 4 door camo in Oct 16'. Needed headlight, doors, top, runs good.
I feel I got lucky.
It wasn't. I hauled 3,000lbs of feed across and must have cracked it on the first trip. It was 6" thick. Doing a fluids change tonight on all the components. I crossed the weekend before and it was a dry creek. An ice jam down river caused flooding and I completely miscalculated the depth...
I am going to replace my steering wheel and am scared to rip the horn button when I do. Does it just pull out? I took the clip out and it feels like its seated in there pretty tight.
What is your opinion of the recent 998 stock the last few weds? I got very lucky with a 998 where every thing was in tip top shape back In June. Tried buying another one again Recently but haven't been impressed. Hope to see some nice ones come up again under $9,000.
It wouldn't bother me to much if it didn't. I've heard a lot of the x doors need glass replacement. Is that the case with most of them? Anyone have some they wanna sell?
Would you buy the Plan B supply doors, or the military X doors if you were to swap out some soft ones? I'm not worried about keeping it original, just looking for decent functionality...
