I have issues with my indicator lights flickering and the like, but I think my issue is a faulty ground.

I don't remember having any bulbs with the long blade like is in the picture. I suspect that as long as you have a pin located the same distance from base to top of the blade it will work.

Take a look at these. T3 bulbs, I think the key is T3 bulbs, you can reuse the holder that clicks into the instrument panel. Double check all of this, because I am just going by memory.

I replaced mine with some LED ones. they are easy enough to find, just be sure to search for 24 volt ones. I think I got them off Amazon. I will search for a link.

Yep, I can see the San Juan's out my back window. The front window faces the Sangre de Cristos There was a huge volcano called La Garita on the Southwest end of the valley. The La Garita eruption was over 10,000 times as violent as Mt. St. Helens… La Garita blew out 1,500 cubic miles of rock...

Migginbros, you definitely have the cleanest, best maintained SEE on the site.

I have been able to get the tires on / off by myself. To do it you need to play with the jack until the height is just right, then use a spade under the tire to wiggle it up and down until you can get a lug or hopefully 2 on. Then jack the SEE up and man handle the wheel until you can line up...

Who's idea was it to wrap wires in soybeans?

Wow that looks like hard digging. No pictures of the front end loader lifting that load. I am in South Central Colorado (San Luis Valley) and realize how lucky I was with volcanic ash to dig.

Proper grounding for generator as a component of off grid solar / house system.

I am pretty confused about how to ground my whole system. Originally I thought I would drive a grounding rod near solar panels, at the Conex box housing my batteries and charge controller / inverter, and the generator back up. I have come to learn that would be a bad practice that could fry...

For $100 I think I will keep pokeing finger through the hole. Thanks though. Maybe I can find one that someone is parting out..

Yep the tach is driiven off the alternator. The TM has a good section on diagnosing the alternator. It has been a few years since I went through mine, but if you have a multi-meter you should be able to track down the issue fairly fast. Before you pull it though check your ground to the...

Sounds like you had quite the adventure getting it home. That inner belt is a real pain in the rear without the cab tilted. I expect that job is in my near future again. IMHO that is one of the biggest design flaws of the system. The belt that drives the hydraulics for the front loader takes...

Has anyone had experience with the pressure relief valve on the swing cylinders leaking. I have looked through the TM ( not exhaustively ) but I have not found anything too helpful. It started a couple of months after I repacked the cylinder. I'm guessing it may just be an O ring that...

    Battery Backup?

I know this is an old thread, but I can add some practical experience. As Weldman said LifePO4 batteries don't charge well when they are in below freezing temperatures. I live in a high mountain valley at 8000 feet. It gets and stays cold here from the end of November to late March it never...

Well I moved my hot wire over to the center post instead of right post on the fan terminals, and when it got up to temperature the fans kicked on. The thermostat is fine. There is nothing wrong with the #1 fuse, so it must be a break in the hot wire going to that center post. If I get a...

Yeah that is where I connected the positive lead from the ignition switch. It is well grounded because when I supply power to that terminal the fans run great. The multi meter does not show any charge on the other terminal, which I assume should supply power to the two fans when the thermostat...

Maybe, but I did not lose them, they never worked. I have gone through all the fuses earlier, but I have not checked it specifically when the weather got warm and I have been using it hard. At one point the cylinder was getting pretty warm so I decided I better see if I could get the fans to...

I found an alternative approach that might have worked but it was really difficult to get the bucket to follow the right path. Put the hinge point of the backhoe at the intersection and dig at an angle. The hard part is that you have to use the swing cylinder as you are digging to get the...
