I took mine to a friend that does body work to fill a hole and patch up a crack in mine. He used a fiberglass gel like material. Not the mat. I cannot tell where the repair was after.

I used the base out of a cougar mrap. I had to modify them a little but they work well and the height is now adjustable too.

The seats I got were out of an MRAP. They were made by GSS. Here is a link to a site that sells them but you can find them cheaper on eBay from time to time.

I'll post a pic on here once I get a chance. Just looking I think these bases are really nice but not the exact one for these seats but still fit with minimal modification. Just got them the other day so I haven't gotten a chance to mess with them yet.
I found some of the MRAP height adjustable bases for dirt cheap on eBay so I might at least try one for the drivers side. Just might need some quality time with my drill.
Just purchased an older M998 and was looking to upgrade the seating. I picked up four of these MRAP seats at a significantly reduced price. Anyone mounted this type before?
