Thinking about buying some items from there. The listings say they have no ramps, forklifts etc. Is that true or do they have some way to load items? I bought some items from Albany GA. the listings there said the same thing and it was not correct.
I bought 2 of these but they are 2011's and the tm number is 11080A-OI. The NSN for the unit is the same. I got a manual for each so if you think the manual will work for you, I will send you one.
I cleaned s8 and everything else I could get to. The percent load meter started working and I ran 3 ac's and the microwave. Only showed about 40 percent load or a little higher. About right because clamp on meter showed 29 amps on one leg and 18 on the other. Then i ran a 3 phase ac on it...
I knew that. But nothing can be taken for granted. Been trying to read as much as i can about these things. I got one but need on more to fully run my house. The nice part about these is all the info available. I work on 18 wheelers and have a lot of manuals but nowhere in them will you find any...
Now that makes sense. I was thinking s8 was the switch you turn to change which phase the voltmeter reads. Didn't understand why that switch would affect the load.
I've had top cover off twice. Guess it will come off again.
I ran it today with just 2 AC's. ran good for about an hour. So I went in and started vacuuming and about 10 minutes of that and it tripped off. I know it is carrying less load than the onboard 8 kw will so definitely a problem. I opened the panel and the S8 is the rotary style-about 4" long...
Rv is not bonded. So I kept the gen bonded and ran it. With 3 AC's (15,000 btu) and electric water heater on it ran about 15 minutes then trip on overload. Load meter wasn't working and I forgot my clamp on at work but that is usually all that the on board 8 kw can stand. Have even tripped some...
I got the new to me 803 a couple weeks ago and finally got it ready to load test on the motor home. It is sitting temporarily on a little trailer so I know I need to drive a grounding rod in but not sure on the bonding strap. I assume that the motor home is not bonded because the system that you...
Any good websites to buy these from? I went to my local tractor supply, Lowes and Home Depot with no luck. I just bought an 803 and had to pull water pump and radiator. Would like to go back together with caged nuts in the difficult spots and replace everything with stainless. Had some bolts...
Agreed. I spoke to I think Wayne first, then Eric and then Scott. All were extremely helpful and a pleasure to do business with. I also picked up a gen and a/c there last week. The gnats that work there were very unfriendly though.
Picked up my items yesterday. All went very smooth. They loaded me with their forklift and they also have a loading ramp that could be used to drive something up onto a flatbed. I spoke to a couple people before getting to Scott but they were all easy to deal with and very helpful.
Be careful...
So I called GP Friday to make my appointment to pick up my 2 items. The girl tells me I need to call the yard directly and gave me a number. After the day prior they told me I couldn't call the yard directly. So I called and turns out they are open 5 days a week-not next week with the holiday...
Just got off the phone with govplanet. They insist there is no loading assistance and that there is no way to contact the site directly which probably means they just don't give out the phone number. This is kind of frustrating in that a lot of items sold at that site yesterday and more will...
Looking at these various units. We want to put a big one or a few small ones to heat/ cool a shop. I see connection for current sensing on some of them. Can they be used on shore power? Our shop has 120/208 3 ph.
Recently found and joined this sight. What a wealth of knowledge here. Not many...
That just seems crazy to me. With all the stuff on that yard now and they can't load it for you. And some items up for auction there have a note that they have nothing to load with and others don't have that note.
