Isn't there a steel line that stops at the frame rail that is capped off? My m1009 has one. That should be easy to hook up to and drain the tank.

Not sure on that. My alt gauge always goes to the green and stays there after start. Doesn't move even when gen light glows.

Mine has always romantically glowed with blower and high beams on. If it's pitch black I can see the faintest of glow with the blower on high only but it has always been visible with high blower and high lights. I always assumed this was normal behavior?? as voltages have always looked good...
I just went through the same situation with Kat's heaters in a customers old diesel tractor. 3 failed in a row after first use. I run the same heater in my M1009 for the past 3 years and never had an issue. It turned out to be a bad batch or bad luck. The 4th one has been working great for the...

The first piece is is the high idle solenoid that works with the cold timing advance when starting cold. Mine was broke but I was able to remove the outer casing and resolder the end of the winding back together. It can cause the truck to die when starting very cold with diesel. It does not have...
Can confirm center punch method. Much faster and easier than other methods if done correctly. We bent one a 1/4 from the end of the punch and the curve leverages the threads to force the tip to turn the broken bolt. Just be sure you are hammering in the proper direction.
EDIT: On phone and...
