Hey Guys so I've had my 1989 6.2 pig for a few weeks now & it's freakin awesome. I have an engineer friend who insists his Dodge Ram 1500 would beat my Humvee in a tow fight. He claims with added weight in his bed, I would have no chance. I agreed & it's set to go down tomorrow.
What's the...
^Was thinking that...or even pressure treated lumber. I have no need to endure the elements...no needs for anything other then the "look" of the slant back to the general public. My vee is used for business/shows so again, it just needs to look the look.
Hey Guys, any idea why we don't see more of these? If you just fab (2) steel tube pieces to create the slant & get creative with a custom piece of fabric w/ grommets & anchor points...It should give your slant back look for like 1/100th of the price.
Hey Guys thanks in advance for all your input!
Just curious to hear the responses from season vets about the pros & cons when considering hard top vs soft top? My vehicle will be used for pleasure on roads in PA. I guess the hard top just looks better?
Hey guys, Newb here again. So I just got my vee & this thing is friggin awesome!!
I've noticed that when going to engage the E brake, it feels completed locked in place until really pulling...then it kinda "breaks" free & then is freely able to be engaged. Maybe just the position of my...
Why would this kit be so inexpensive on Ironplanet? It's half the cost of Plan B (but looks just like theirs.) Is this ready to be installed OR do you need a bunch more hardware? From past auctions, it appears this will go for $3,500.

First off, thank you all in advance for your contributions as it's GREATLY appreciated & you all really know your stuff. I'm a newbie who knows only the most basic information about Humvees. I've just always loved these vehicles & I'm finally in a position to buy one (so forgive me in advance...
Hey Guys - I'm a newb on here who was going to purchase an m998 & the deal ended up falling apart. I'm now purchasing a nice 6.2L one from a guy on these forums! Anyway, I live in a new development & I've befriended the foreman & crew over the last year. I want to take my new humvee (w/ the...
Thank you so much man this is an awesome post. I feel much better about the purchase & I really appreciate you (and everybody on here) offering your expertise. GREATLY APPRECIATED!
I definitely recall seeing other metal tags, but I didn't look closely enough. So the tag for WV RSMS / West Virginia National Guard (that's right on the dash..) appears to be for a Regional Sustainment Maintenance Site OR Regional Support Maintenance Site for the National Guard. I found an...
Thank you all for the input! The link to the vehicle is below when he bought it back in September 2016. Again, I don't know how to work on engines or vehicles (well...at least not yet..) but I know it started up instantly. I accept there will be work needed. I'm already planning on doing the...
