I saw them roll through headed South on Bryant on a semi about lunch on Tuesday. I had two friends call me and let me know I had some more Deuce buddies in town and later that afternoon I spotted them at the self storage units out on South 87. The ones next to the deer blind factory (Conner...
Two nice Deuces showed up in San Angelo a couple days ago. Anyone gonna claim those? I saw them roll through town and then unload over near Conner Farm and Ranch off of HWY 87.
I am confused as to why we are now talking about wheels but I would like to have power steering on my deuce, what parts do I need and how much would it cost? I can fab stuff but only have so much time so more details would be appreciated.
May take you up on that.
I took my alternator to a local (small town) rebuild shop over a month ago. He has ordered stators for it twice (mine is burned up) but both of the units he ordered were much narrower (over 1" narrower) than the one that came on my deuce. He happened to have two...

Looks like tomorrow.
If I can get in touch with the folks at the base I am going to leave tomorrow and pick it up Wed morning early. Have you had any luck getting in touch with the contact person at the base?
Great site. I have been reading and learning all I can since I won the deuce on GL. I am going to Camp Beauregard, LA to load it up this week. I have wanted a deuce for years and finally found one in my range (price and location) and won the auction. Look forward to posting pics etc.
