What is in the pics is what’s i have.
i haven’t checked costs on this but If anyone is interested let me know.
Follow up post from yesterday:
After reading papakb’s post about 29A i went right back to the master switch and changed a couple things; most importantly where -24v to the converter was going to.
Once i made that change i was good to go.
thx for the help!!
Yes, battery negative on the switch is what i'm currently using. Thanks for the drawing! Since i'm new to the wiring layout could you steer me to the location for 27A?
Your assistance is greatly appreciated,
Steve
Hey guys,
working on a 24/12v conversion for some accessories and I'd like to have this circuit keyed to my ignition switch.
I have a simple 24/12v converter wired to a keyed ignition switch.
Converter is wired to the switch ground and acc legs. Switch off - 0v, Switch on - 24v
No problem there...
I’ve recently acquired a USMC 1985 M998 Slantback with the following on the hood and tailgate: 538945.
Was wondering if anyone here could steer me in the right direction to help identify the background of this truck.
I too purchased the 700r4 kit from Mike @ Dirty Boyz. Had a buddy install in my 91 6.5 GEP.
Install was super smooth!! Only hitch is tire balance at higher speeds. Any thoughts on balancing 12 bolt wheel?
i’ll post some here. when i built the frame i wasn’t planning on mounting it in a MT-1029 but that thought changed as i’m trying to replicate something that looks like its supposed to be there. That being said my frame is off by 1/4” so i’ll be putting another one together. traveling for work...
i’m out in Westhampton. i’ve got a lead on a new 2man setup to replace the aging doors/top on this one. might just snag that up and work out the 4 man setup down the road.
Been waiting a few months to get things going
and got things squared away this past weekend.
1991 2dr w/6.5 GEP.
Looking to make the conversion to 4 door asap.
Any other Long Islanders here??
Hi Guys,
I'm looking at purchasing a vehicle and have spoke to several sellers in NY, NJ and other states.
I'm wondering if there are any other NY owners here that have registered a Humvee for on-road use,
thx,
