Well for 2700 and the cost of an injection pump overhaul the kid got a straight never wrecked no rust or rot truck. I tried so many times to attach photos but the program is not friendly that way.
At the end of day 18 I sold the truck where she sat for 2700. I'm sure it was the injector pump. A kid who had been coming around since day and has two 80s k30s but not a cucv wanted it bad so i sold it to him. Broke my heart and now I'm without a vehicle. He paid me 1000 and upon receipt of the...
That's it after today I'm going to walk away get on a bus and go home. Do I need to put that tuna can back on or can I run with out it? Plug the holes of course.
There was a small relay the size of half my little finger on the firewall behind brake master cylinder. Not sure if that was some fire department add on or part of original system. It wires and it were just dangling loose and didn't seem to go anywhere so I removed it.

The manual glow plug mods I've seen and read about all talk about installing a Ford late model type solenoid. Can you not use the existing one for some reason?
Is there 1/8 inch spacer between the fuel pump and the block. I just removed the old fuel pump and there is a lip that makes it seem so. I have a block off plate for a small block and it has 4 holes in it and there is two smaller bolts below the two bolts that held the pump on.
Broke down 800 miles from home 8 days ago in Napa California in my 1984 m1008. Happened at intersection in front of Walmart. Pushed truck into parking lot and have been working on it ever since. I figured it was a fuel delivery problem so I bought what I needed to change fuel filter to spin on...
I'm new here and will get in trouble I'm sure for not finding a similar but here goes. I own a 86 K10 short bed and I'm taking it out of service for to do a frame off build. My 84 m1008 was driven when it should not have been. The torque converter bolts that bolt it to the flex plate had all...
thank you for the welcome, further investigation revealed that it is the 5 bolts that hold the torque c to the flex plate that were laying in the bottom of insp cover.
