Flat towing Humvee with 40,000 lb military tow bar

It's been 3 months I think the old farm trailer would have had it done by meow, do you still not have this thing moved ? Put it on a trailer or your next post will be needing help on the side of the road, take at least two spare trailer tires with you .

    Cummins 12v into my CUCV

Quote: "Pulling something out of a stuck situation is totally different than towing down the road". And towing with a blazer that has the same wheelbase as my kids wagon is totally different than towing with a pickup truck with actual wheelbase . I would put it in the F350 Dually myself but...

    Cummins 12v into my CUCV

Do it . Don't give in to negativity and Common Sense . This is my buddy and his Cummins powered Chevy pulling my 5 ton which was stuck in the mud hooked to my 40-ft van that was full of my shop and Incredibly heavy, and that was uphill .

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

And then ... I got it stuck in my front yard trying to get thru to the back 40 . Heres a vid of me getting unstuck (the 1st time) yes there's more . Excuse the overly excited narration from my neighbor

    Curious old M49 fuel truck

I've had three of those tanks I still have two, none of them were sectioned internally, all of mine are stainless inside then insulation and then aluminum outer skin . I have an M50A2, I still use it and it is still complete with the PTO transfer case and the driveline and the pump at the rear...

    New to me 8x8

I'd start with draining the oil pan, then you'll know if it's full of water .

    D Turbo

The silicone half blocking your return as you described was probably a bigger deal than some people might think, the oil flow back from the turbo has to be unobstructed or it will pool up and push out past an otherwise decent seal .

Had no idea there were different or "newer" versions of the whistler

    Found a gas powered wrecker

Also with the Military you're not opening up your own wallet at every fuel stop 😀

    D Turbo

Using my old Deuce on forest fires to make a living, you couldn't pay me to run a whistler 😀

I've had a few R6's, I absolutely love them, they're an incredibly nimble little piece of equipment, so are the Zukes, just not into the fake Harleys but to each his own . Love that this has turned into a bike thread 😀, we need one . (If we have one I'm unaware).
