The ones you see in Godzilla movies are Mitsubishi built. If you look close at the top of the grill you will see the triangle Mitsubishi emblem. They were still being made in the 80s as I saw a ton of them in Honduras and other parts of Central America. I forget what they had for an engine, but...
As I recall the main difference between the military 134 flathead and the CJ 134 flathead is that the military has a timing chain and the CJ has timing gears. Also if still there the gen bracket will be 2 piece on the military.
I have a question about new and old style and what kit is for what style. My steering wheel is the old black wheel and I need to redo the horn button on it as it is all missing. Which kit is the correct one?
I have a shirt that says "You say Redneck like it was a bad thing" Never been called a redneck for having the Deuce, but it's hard to tell as I have been called redneck all of my life. I take it as a compliment.
Well I am pretty sure Kermit has at least 3 B-17s and I know one was damaged in a storm about 6 years ago so he might be looking ffor B-17 parts. Then again he may have more B-17 parts than Boeing.
He has a restored Lancaster that was sitting in storage crates last time I was there as well as a...

Last time I was there he had 2 warehouses full of can engines of all types. He may be able to help and if not I am 100% sure that he knows someone close that can. He has about the biggest colletion of...
The engines should be the -31s. The only person I can think of that would have extras close to you would be Kermit Weeks in FL. He has pretty much everything.
The pic of the long Jeep towing the trailer is based on a CJ3B as it has the tall hood. I have never seen a factory longbed CJ3B but that does not mean they do not exist.
They still make the CJ3B in Asia and sell them in Central America under the Mitsubishi name. Udated engine of course, but the...
Stu Lamb had a T-28D that he kept at North Atlantic Air. Not sure what happened to it, but he was looking to get an A-1 Skyraider at one time. He may have been the one that bought the Viking that sat on the end of 2-20 a few years ago. He liked big heavy Navy planes with radial engines.
Your N3N...
Yes they both belonged to Dean at one time. The guy bought the Fouga and had it for awhile and then bought the Mig. They both used to be on the other side of the field and I used to take care of them for the owner. Flew the Fouga from the back seat a couple of times. I really liked Stu's T-28...
Or as my instructor advised me when I asked him about how much it costs per year to own a plane he just said. If it floats, flys, or f**ks, rent it :-D
O.K. here are some photos.
I think the model number is LR-25. Second pic is of the entire power unit. Pump and oiltank. Third is of the makers logo.
I can say that it works very well and is self contained. No driveshafts or extra PTOs needed. It is all hydroelectric and is 24V.
The system is made buy Rugby. Sorry I have not taken pics of the set up but just have not had time. I will go out and do so now while I am thinking about it.
No worries about stealing thunder Clinto. There are many different ways to make a dump bed on your Duece and I enjoy seeing the different...
Might be the pedal sticking. Mine did that. I pulled the rod off the back of the pedal and hosed the hinge on the floor down with WD40 and worked it back and forth by hand. In a few moments it freed up just fine and has worked ever since.
This is just a guess mind you.
PS even with a good...
