Hello, haven’t posted on here in some time busy building my house. Last year I replaced the rear axle on the 419 due to 2wd not working, bought the axle from a man in Colorado, axle was still in original vacuum wrap from factory. Mechanic missed diagnosed the problem come to find out there were...

Slowly building my house, jerry rigged a extension bar that attaches to where the rock ripper attaches. Works well, a lot easier lifting the logs with the backhoe then with my back. Keep you all up to date on how it is going.
Had the same problem while pushing snow, took me 45mins to go 800yds. Change the primary fuel filter, primed the system and didnt have any more problems. So check the primary fuel filter/change it.

Hey f800, have you tried locking SEE into 4x4 and operating it? On my FLU I had the 6 bolts that connect the transmission output shaft to the driveshaft. All 6 had worked loose then snapped on me, same result as you. I could get into all of the gears but wouldnt go any where until I engaged the...

Joshua N, living in southeastern Utah, purchased my 419 little over 6 months ago for working on the farm. It is a 1987 flu419 not sure what the frame number is but will work on getting it. Currently working on making a full size snow plow, 3 point receiver, forks for moving pallets and hay. I...
Hello, name is Josh, recently purchased a 1987 Unimog 419. I have enjoyed working on it and with it on my farm here in Utah. I have enjoyed learning and researching about old military vehicles, and expanding my knowledge. Thank you, I hope I can help people as much as this group has helped...
