Give the old girl a snort of starting fluid and if she tries to start or starts then shuts off, it is not getting fuel. If it starts or tries to start then it is a fuel problem. Do not use the glow plugs if you use starting fluid.

I am in need of an alternator for an M818/250 Cummins. I found one said to be off an M151 and it looks the same by the picture. Does anyone know if the alternators are the same for both vehicles?

You can try the internet also, the filters are not military specific. They are industry standard items. I have used the WIX website to cross numbers and sometimes the part numbers in the manuals have extra digits and you have to try to cross them multiple ways. You can usually get filter...

If you found manuals, they should have part numbers for the filters. You can go to WIX , Fram or brand of your choice and cross the numbers over!
