Not at all. I'd prob try to find someone that has delt with them before sending money. They have a lot of good stuff for sale tho.

At 5'5" you'll be fine. I'm 6'6" and it's just about impossible for me to operate the clutch and brake on mine. Other than that it's ok. Visibility in anything armored is usually less than desirable and best done with a spotter, but the BRDM is better than some.

Could be a problem with the magneto internal timing. Magneto to engine timing can be set perfectly but if the magneto internal timing is off it will only run with the booster.

The control to the right of the steering wheel is the firing and guidance control for the Sagger missiles. Joystick in center, firing button on lower left, missile selector on lower right.

I would think that you should probably avoid anything synthetic. Use only mineral oils, or petroleum based lubricants (should keep the seals from drying out). Also Stretch44875 is correct.......run it regularly.

I bought mine from the Atlanta GA auction, had it shipped back to Tacoma, took the SF-97 to the DMV and got a title (after the state patrol inspection) no problems.

I'm 6'6" 210 and fit just fine in mine. As mentioned earlier forget about the front hatch, very difficult to get in and out of, but through the turret is easy. One problem however is getting onto the vehicle in the first place. I've just about knocked all my teeth out slipping on the oily...
