UPDATE
My apologies to all you guys and girls here on this great site, for being AWOL these past three years !
I had a small, live changing (and almost lethal) event back in October of 2016. In it's wake, a lot of things in my live, have taken on a very different dimension .
I still have most...
Ill have to build the box for the "Camper Module" from scratch, because i want it to be low profile. My thought is, to make the center section to sit right down on the top of the frame and have the sides of the floor higher over the wheels for clearance.
This design will allow for standing room...
FEMTT Action.....
I'm glad there is still some interest in this thread! So after a super busy summer I finally have the time to post an update with some new FEMTT pics!
The first three pics are from an M1000 recovery. I used the FEMTT and my M870A1. As you can see...the M1000 is a pretty...

They are one...
More Self Recovery Winch Cable Guides
With winter just around the corner I figured I better finish the Self Recovery Winch setup for routing the cable out the front of the FEMTT. Who knows....I might need it....
So I was missing a support roller, right in front of the winch drum, to...
Yes that is the plan. I'm going to make it a 4x4 with a short wheel base. It will be able to accept all the same modules as the FEMTT, but will not have the crane. I also want to do air ride suspension, a 600HP ISX Cummins and the seven speed Allison HD4070.
Should be pretty capable.... :beer...
Good observation Zebedee and thanks for calling me out on that! lol
This hole is kind of a screw-up....haha! After fabricating the winch side first and building kind of a hawse fairlead in to the inboard side of the fender. it looked really stupid with the narrow one on the left. So we extended...
